Flood Damaged and Fully or Partially Submerged Products

Please note the term “product” used in this bulletin refers to allAllied Technologies, Super Hot, and Mini-Star products.

Due to the recent and unfortunate flooding situation, this bulletin has been issued to answer some of the questions our customers may be facing with regard to product which has been subjected to flood waters and either fully or partially submerged.

If the product has been fully or partially submerged in flood water, DO NOT ATTEMPT to repair, install or operate it. This is based on several safety risks.

It is our strong recommendation that the product be replaced.

Flooding, as with any natural disaster, is a condition which is beyond the control of the manufacturer and, as such, does not qualify for warranty.

If you have questions or comments, please contact your local sales representative or our technical support at 604-929-1214.

Please refer to the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refridgeration Institute’s (AHRI) statement on flood damaged heating equipment.
